I'm paying $36 total for flea and heartworm prevenatives for both my dog and my cat, each month.

Is that cheap or reasonable or am I getting ripped off?

It all depends on the size of the dog. I have Pomeranians and each one costs $35 for a 6 month supply for Heartgard heartworm preventative. My dad had a large breed and it cost him $90 for a 6 month supply.

*DO NOT buy ANY otc medication that claims to be a heartworm preventative.
