pet has problems with her hair were trying to figure out if its a side effect of medication or something else?
She is an australain shepard about 11 years old (in human years not dog) shes taking deramaxx and M-Thyrozine, I looked up side effects of them online but didnt see anything about hair growth. Shes been taking them for atleast 2 years. My mom gets her hair cut about twice a year cause she sheds soo much hair in the house. She never had this problem before but since she last had her hair cut its been growing back strange. She has spots were its not growing and spots where its growing long but somewhat thin. This is only on her back and part of her side, on the rest of her body is growing back like normal. My mom thought it might be from her laying on concrete in her office but wouldnt make sense cause she doesnt lay on her back.

Have you had her checked out by the vet? Sounds like fungus or something that she could have picked up at the groomer…
